You should ask an Asian. A few years ago a number of schools in Alberta and BC were found to be falsifying driving skill tests for Asians. This probably explains why Asians are such bad drivers. Well that and the peripheral vision thing. ;)

why would i be kidding - its not like im a bad driver. im a very good driver, unlike an asian. I dont need a year to learn to drive, i have been driving my whole life. i know what im doing. i understand why some might not like it because bad drivers could just buy a licence and possibly kill someone. But i am fully capable of driving.

btw - i will pay $500 for a class 5 GDL and $200 to anyone who finds someone who can help me.

Ok, for the record, I object to the comments about Asian's - it's a broad generalization.

Secondly, what is with the class 7 license, I know it's a learner's license, is this because you have been 'driving your whole life' but are only now getting a license or?

Dont know what you mean. Im 17 and havnt got my learners yet. I really dont want to and cant wait an entire year to get my class 5. I just moved off a farm where i drove everywhere across the country side. I hope that answers your question.

Yes, I understand what you are saying now.

If you want my opinion - and I'm sure you do, you don't need your Class 5 that badly.

Young drivers (especially males) are not the most proficient drivers.  That is why they have gone to a progressive driver's license.

Driving is a priviledge and should be taken seriously.  The fact that you are trying to go under the table and get a license illegally says to me that you aren't ready for a class 5.

Anyone who would give you anything other than a class 7 would have to be looney tunes - they could lose their job or their business or worse.

Get the class 7, drive well for the year required and then get the class 5, that's my advice.
